Terms And Conditions

The terms and conditions presented herein constitute the agreement between you and Barnet Taxis. Booking a taxi and utilizing our services implies your unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions as outlined in this agreement.

1. Definitions

In these terms and conditions, "Barnet Taxis," "we," or "us" refer to the company providing our services. The terms "you" and "your" may apply to any individual, business, or company making a reservation with us.

2. Booking

2.1 You are responsible for allowing sufficient time for your journey to ensure punctual arrival, including all airport transfers that require adherence to specific check-in times for flights. Barnet Taxis will not be held liable for any delays caused by your failure to allocate adequate time to reach your destination on time or if you are not prepared to be picked up at the scheduled time.

2.2 It is your responsibility to request a vehicle of appropriate size for all passengers and luggage. Barnet Taxis does not guarantee the accommodation of an excessive amount of luggage. Please note that any child, regardless of age, will be considered as a single passenger.

2.3 Individuals requiring wheelchair access should make this request when booking.

3. Prices & Payment

3.1 Barnet Taxis offers a quotation based on the information you provide. Unless otherwise specified, all prices are exclusive of VAT, and if applicable, this charge will be added separately. In the event of significant changes to the specified itinerary, we reserve the right to modify the provided quote.

3.2 Our quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the scheduled landing time and covers the cost of parking at the airport. Any waiting time beyond this will be subject to standard Barnet Taxis waiting rates. While we will make an effort to monitor flight details and adjust our service in cases of delays, we are not obligated to do so.

3.3 Upon accepting a quote from us, you will receive a booking confirmation. Please review this confirmation carefully to ensure its accuracy. Failure to notify Barnet Taxis of any discrepancies may result in delays or additional costs, for which we shall not be held responsible.

3.4 Payment for our services can be made in cash, by credit card, or debit card.

4. The Service

4.1 You are responsible for the conduct of all passengers during the journey. In the event that the vehicle is soiled, damaged, or negatively affected by a passenger, a cleaning cost may be applied.

4.2 Consumption of food, beverages, or smoking is prohibited in the vehicle.

4.3 All children traveling in the vehicle must be properly restrained according to their height, weight, and age.

4.4 We are not permitted to transport more passengers than allowed by our licensing and insurance.

5. Cancellations

5.1 In the event that you need to cancel your booking with Barnet Taxis, it is essential to inform us as soon as possible. Failure to cancel a vehicle until after it has been dispatched will result in a charge, based on the time and distance covered by the driver up to the point of cancellation.

5.2 If you have made a reservation through our online booking system and cancel before the vehicle has been dispatched, a charge may be applied to the original payment.

6. Liability

6.1 While Barnet Taxis will make every effort to ensure your timely arrival at your destination, we are not responsible for losses incurred as a result of delays beyond our control. Under no circumstances will Barnet Taxis be held accountable for any losses experienced by you or your business.

6.2 Your luggage is transported at your own risk.

6.3 In the event of a breakdown of the vehicle during your journey with Barnet Taxis, we will make every effort to arrange an alternative vehicle to enable you to continue your journey as swiftly as possible.

6.4 You shall not hold Barnet Taxis responsible for any expenses, damages, costs, or losses arising from the actions or omissions of any member of your party.

6.5 None of the involved parties can exclude or limit their liability for personal injury or death resulting from negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful default, or any matter categorized as unenforceable by any applicable laws.

7. Termination

7.1 We retain the right to terminate or decline a booking immediately if a vehicle or driver is jeopardized by abuse, violence, or damage caused by you or any other passenger. No refunds will be issued for any journey terminated during the hire.
